Manzanares el Real: Less than an hour’s drive from Madrid, the charming village of Manzanares el Real is a great place to visit if you want to enjoy quieter surroundings away from the bustling cities. With breathtaking mountain and lakeside scenery, the village is home to one of the most well-preserved castles in the area.
