Bondi Beach: Bondi Beach is a legendary surf spot only a 20-minute drive from Sydney’s city centre. Whether you love to surf, skate or just relax on the beach, Bondi has something for everyone. Enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants that line the sand — and of course, a surf lesson is a must!
Blue Mountains: Only a 90-minute drive from Sydney are the Blue Mountains, a majestic and inspiring mountain range. There are so many ways of enjoying this stunning feat of geology. If you want to go bush walking, the Greater Blue Mountain Drive has 18 discovery trails for you to explore. If you’re short on time, then take in the view at Echo Point, or ride the cableway at Scenic World. You can also take a look at stalagmites and stalactites in the Jenolan Caves.
Royal National Park: Discover the beautiful, lush coastline of the Royal National Park, a 40-minute drive south of Sydney. This coastal parkland was the second green space in the world to be made into a national park; and with secluded beaches (some surfable), stunning coastal views and rainforests, it’s easy to see why the park needed to be protected. Make the most of the landscape by walking the 26-kilometre Coast Track.
