Mary Cairncross Nature Reserve: Set in 55 acres of subtropical rainforest overlooking the Glass House Mountains National Landscape, Mary Cairncross Nature Reserve can be reached in approximately 40 minutes by car from Maroochydore. A remnant of the forests that once covered the Blackall Range, the reserve’s habitat supports a diversity of plant and animal life found in few other places.
