Although we had to wait 15mins for minibus at the airport to take us to GreenMotion depot, once we arrived it was a better experience to have seating, coffee and more privacy at the check-in desk in the GreenMotion building than at the desk in the airport of other car rental firms. Drop off was very efficient and courteous. The car had a light bulb out and the luggage cover in the boot (hatchback) was not the right one for the make of car. It did not fit properly, always falling down in to the boot when we opened the hatchback and it had gaps all around the edge which meant that our luggage was visible in the boot from outside the car.

The Suzuki Vitara turned out to be a welcome upgrade to the Passat wagon we had booked. I was initially concerned about limited space for luggage for four travellers but we were able to consolidate things into 3 bags from 4. Having the 4WD capability is a plus in Iceland. Staff were quite helpful. Off-airport location introduces delays on busy travel days. They advise arriving 2.5 h before departure (that's a long time). I'm used to < 5 minute drop-offs at airports. You may be stuck in a queue behind very slow customers. I couldn't work out if the shuttle service to/from the airport was scheduled or ad hoc.

Very nice car, we had hired a 4x4 and got a Jeep Renegade, which is a fun and cool car to drive in a place like Iceland especially on the gravel roads. Service was quick and the shuttle arrived at the airport just in time. Not so much, maybe an additional smile at the hire desk ...

Good little car Good service on return Quick shuttle to the airport Collection was rushed, only one chap on duty, had to sign for existing damage before even seeing the car, car was then covered in snow so unable to check it over in the snow and darkness Turned out ok but could easily have been problematic with unseen damage

Very nice and helpful staff. I got a brand new Fiat 500X 4x4. Note: They have no front desk at Reykjavik airport, I called them and in a few minutes a very courteous driver picked me up. Would definitely rent here again.

Clear instructions, clear information beforehand about price, deposit, insurance... Nice and kind employees, fast pick-up at the airport, super-fast drop-off, 24-hour call centre, 24-hour opening hours of the office. Definitely would come back. Perfect service. I didnt like that it was not possible to order a diesel car. We did almost 2000 km and wanted to save some money on that.

Reliable car that had good gas milage. Friendly employees who could clearly speak and understand English. We didn't realize there would be a shuttle driver with a Green Motion clipboard who we had to find. Once found he was friendly and took us to the rental center. Since the small shuttle was full he took my husband first. My husband immediately took a number for a wait for next rental representative.

Car was in excellent condition and seemed to be well-maintained. Unsure if a Fiat is in the same class as a VW Passat -- the "promised: car. Office staff and shuttle driver was friendly Took too long for the shuttle to come from the office and then we had to wait more than one hour in the office to complete the paperwork/get our car. Green Motion needs more office personnel during high traffic times(when several flights arrive at the approximate same time). Had to wait an another 20 minutes for a GPS unit from downtown office.

considering the main road had sections where it was just gravel, mountainous and didn't feel very safe - the car just wasn't powerful enough or hold the ground well enough. I would only rent a 4X4 in future

Quick, helpful service - changed main driver on booking and allowed an additional driver to be added half way through trip. Very slow connection back to airport after drop off. Although car was of same group as I had booked it was narrower and not suitable for 4 adults and a car seat - there was also no parcel shelf/tourneau so all luggage was exposed.

Christina at the counter was friendly, profesional and very informative. She made the experience very easy. She recommended places to visit and was very welcoming. Good job, Christina!!! We would rent from Green Motion again!! Also, the driver from the shuttle was very congenial and helpful, which was appreciated after a long flight. I would have preferred having the insurance included in the reservation so that I did not have to spend that much time thinking about it upon arriving to Iceland.

Good price and helpful staff. Nice vehicle. GPS map not updated. Car return location was not set as home. We arrived from the domestic terminal in Reykjavik and transported to the international terminal. It was not easy finding the Green Motion representative.

The lady at the counter was very helpful. She did not come outside with us to check the car but was very helpful when I pointed out a stain that was in the back of the car.
