In general, 21, although some car hire companies have higher minimum ages for their bigger / fancier cars (you might need to be 28 to hire a luxury car from some companies, for instance).
Checking multiple sites can be really time-consuming… so that’s one more reason to rent through us. Since we work with so many companies in Spain, we can almost certainly find you a car, as long as you’re at least 21.
Just scroll up to the top of this screen and uncheck the ‘Driver aged 30 – 65?’ box in the search form. Enter your age in the box that pops up and we’ll only show you cars that someone your age can drive.
Top tip: Car hire companies might charge you a Young Driver Fee if you’re over the minimum age but still quite young. These fees can vary, so make sure you compare different companies and different cars on our site. If the Young Driver Fee doesn’t appear under the car’s price, just check the terms and conditions (click the car’s ‘Ts&Cs’ link and look under ‘Driving Charges’).
