The upgrade was hard to use an Audi Quattro. The staff did not explain how to take off the hand brake. Had to speak to a family member at home to check on the internet - the manuel was in French and only told us on page 90, our french wasn't good enough to understand car manuels

First car Audi A3 gps not working, changed car in Montpellier for Jeep Renegade which was excellent.

As expected
Drop-off at Nice was terrible. Took over an hour to find drop-off. Poor instructions and lack of signage. As a result we were 45mins late and almost got charged an extra day. Very stressful.

We were given an Alpha Romeo! Delightful little car. Also it was diesel, therefore cheaper to run. Staff very helpful, both at initial booking and at Avignon.
It was somewhat scratched on outside, but we reported the extra scratches that had not been recorded.

Car was the one I rented. Very new. Good air con. Staff at hire car desk were very nice.
Not enough help to take me through all the new things about it - automatic hand brake, sat nav (wasn't installed properly at first).

The delay/queue to collect the car was ridiculous tho'm the staff were great, just overwhelmed. I didn't like the Peugeot upgrade - bad visibility & over-complex sat-nav - I used my own, in preference.

representative at rental desk was great and took the time to explain all the options and was very helpful at all times. Car was very clean, and very good condition. Returning car was so simple and again staff very friendly.
long queue to pick car up. car was advertised as manual but was automatic. long wait for someone to provide child seats. no one there to explain controls (had to google how to apply the handbrake!)

Extremely efficient staff who, when a problem arose with the car I had been allocated, immediately changed and upgraded the vehicle in and helped me to contact our destination to warn them of our late arrival. All round trouble free and courteous service fromall involved. Bravo!

The staff were very helpful both picking up and particularly when we returned the car. Stephanie in Limoges allowed us to return the 30 minutes early so that we could catch our train to Paris.

Friendly efficient staff when we picked up the car. Took time to explain everything we needed to know. Showed us features of car and how to use them. Just so easy. Got off train and within 30 minutes we were on the road. Very impressed.
Nothing to dislike. We booked a Polo, because we have a VW Golf at home, but realised it may just be a similar car, which it was, a Citroen DX3, but not fussed by that and it was in beautiful condition. Enjoyed it. Picking up and dropping off procedures were easy. Thank you.

The upgrade to a VW Beetle was nice. It was a nearly new vehicle, so clean and tidy.
It was not clear that we would have to pay extra for the upgrade until the end of the process. the additional cost of collision damage excess waiver was v high, but without it the excess is so high it was almost like not having insurance. We were lucky to avoid a long queue when we collected the car.

Staff were very pleasant and the drop off process was excellent.
We decided to avail ourselves of a GPS as the vehicle had absolutely nomads included. The unit did not work and we spent a very frustrating half a day trying to find our way back to the office to replace it.

I had booked a VW Golf (or similar) and got a Fiat Panda. Although at first I thought this car was too small, it worked out to be a the ideal size for some of the towns and awkward places where we had to park, so was a good choice. Also very zippy and easy to drive.
The car was black and I think this color is not so good for hot temperatures as makes the car hotter. I would have preferred a car in white or light color paint.

They were a good company but finding our way into the drop off area was terrible. One staff member told us that often people miss their train connections because they can't find the office.
A better explanation or a map of how to access the parking area for rental vehicle drop off at the Avignon TGV would be appreciated. Signage on approach to the car parking to indicate rental car return needs to be erected.

Return process (once found at the station) was really simple in regard to Europe car staff and process.
The rental car return area was very hard to locate on return. Not fault of Europe car but the station as there was no signage to car rental returns. We took some time to find it and were lucky we had allowed plenty of time before our train. It was a really stressful expereince.
