In one simple search, we help you compare prices from numerous car hire companies at Trapani Airport (including big names like Hertz, Budget and Sixt, and local firms like Maggiore, Locauto and Sicily by Car). A lot of the prices we find are exclusive to Rentalcars.com, so you know you are getting a great deal when you book through us.
We want you to be sure you’re hiring with a trusted company. To help you make an informed decision, we ask each customer to rate their overall rental experience — from the condition of the car to the efficiency of the counter staff. You can see their feedback next to each car listing, so you get impartial, honest advice that will help you choose the right company for you.
Many cars come as part of a special offer (which may include a free additional driver, for example, or the Collision Damage Waiver with no excess) — giving you even better value for money.
We understand hiring a car can be confusing, especially when it comes to fuel policies. We explain exactly what each policy means upfront, but in Sicily and mainland Italy, most car hire companies use one of two policies: full-to-full and pre-purchase.
The full-to-full policy is one we recommend if you don’t wish to purchase fuel upfront, but don’t mind finding a petrol station to refill the tank just before you drop the car off. If the car isn’t dropped off with a full tank, you will be charged to refill it at a premium price.
A pre-purchase policy means you pay the car hire company for the fuel before you drive away — however, most companies in Italy will refund money for unused fuel at the end of the rental.
