We are more than just a comparison site — we are here to make the process of renting a car in Barcelona hassle-free. From powerful search tools to customer reviews, we provide you with everything you need to find your perfect hire car in Barcelona: simply use the filters on the search results page to tell us exactly what you’re looking for — whether it be a luxury car or a spacious 7-seater people carrier. Many of the deals on our site are exclusive to us, meaning you won’t find the same great prices elsewhere. Suppliers offer cars at various locations across Barcelona, including Sants Station and numerous downtown pick-up points.
You will find great deals from international car hire companies (like Hertz, Alamo, Sixt), as well as national firms such as Centauro and Goldcar. You can see ratings and reviews from previous customers next to each listing, so you can find out which companies people had the best rental experience with. If you’re keen to avoid hidden fuel charges, book a car with a full-to-full fuel policy (as you won’t pay any extra fuel fees if you drop the car off with a full tank).

PortAventura: A great day out for the whole family, PortAventura is a huge theme park in the resort of Salou (a 90-minute drive from Barcelona). The park has five themed areas based around historic civilisations (such as Polynesia and the Far West), and is home to Shambhala — a roller coaster with the longest drop in Europe. PortAventura also has a water park if you want to spend some time cooling off from the Spanish heat.
Girona: The beautiful city of Girona is also just a 90-minute drive from Barcelona, so why not see two Catalonian cities during your visit? Brimming with medieval architecture, you can explore the walled ‘Old Quarter’ and see the Roman remains at the Força Vella fortress. Girona also has plenty of fantastic restaurants, shops and museums for you to enjoy.
Montserrat Mountain: The multi-peaked mountain of Montserrat can be reached in an hour from Barcelona; so escape the city and take in the spectacular landscapes. The mountain is also the site of Santa Maria de Montserrat — a Benedictine abbey accessible by road.
