We are more than just a comparison site — we deal with car hire companies directly, giving you access to exclusive deals and the cheapest prices possible. You will find an excellent choice of cars on our site, including luxury cars, convertibles and people carriers. Our aim is to make hiring a car in Bergamo hassle-free, that’s why we provide you with a simple search form, handy filters and all the information you need upfront. Search Rentalcars.com next time you’re looking for cheap car hire in Bergamo.
If you want to split the driving with someone else, look out for cars which come with a free additional driver (many of the national suppliers like Noleggiare, Locauto and Morini often have offers like this). Some cars also include the Collision Damage Waiver with zero excess at no extra cost. You will soon see which cars these types of offers apply to once you search on our site.
Of course, there’s more to good value than getting ‘extras’ free of charge; you want to be certain the company has a great reputation. To help you make an informed choice, we show ratings and reviews left by previous customers next to each car. You will be able to see how each company compares in terms of customer satisfaction and value for money.

Como: Situated on the edge of Lake Como, the town of Como (just over an hour’s drive from Bergamo) is brimming with breathtaking natural beauty — making it a great place to visit if you want a tranquil escape from the city. For stunning views, take the funicular railway up to Brunate (a hillside village), and admire the picturesque scenery that surrounds you. Make sure you spend time exploring Como’s narrow streets and attractive piazzas, and then enjoy a leisurely stroll along the lakeside promenade.
Sirmione: Set on a peninsula, the historic town of Sirmione is one of the most popular sights on Lake Garda; and is just over an hour’s drive from Bergamo. Be sure to visit Scaliger Castle which guards the old town (and climb to the top if you want to be rewarded with spectacular views). The ancient ruins of Grotte di Catullo are also well worth a visit — located on the northern tip of Sirmione, the archaeological site boasts the remains of the largest Roman villas in the north of Italy.
Milan: Why not see a second Italian city during your stay? Just a one-hour drive from Bergamo, Milan is a great place for art, culture and shopping (the city is a global capital for fashion and design, so you will find plenty of designer stores and high-end boutiques). The city’s most iconic landmark and ‘must-see’ attraction is its magnificent Gothic cathedral, which took over 600 years to complete.
