To change the time of your rental before pick-up, contact the company you booked your car with to change the booking.
If you booked with us, you can go to the My Booking page by logging in to Rentalcars.com, or by following the link we sent you in an email. If you booked with a rental company directly, contact them instead.
Any change to the time or date of your booking affects the cost of the whole trip – not just the extra time that you booked for. Whatever the cost of the car is at the time of the new booking will then be the cost of the car for the whole trip.
For example, if you booked your first car for three days at £15 per day, it would cost £45. If the price has risen to £20 per day by the time you add an extra two days, you’ll pay £20 per day for all seven days, not just the extra two.
This means that the cost of your booking will be £100.
Booking well in advance can be a lot cheaper. So the later you change your booking, the higher the daily rate is likely to be.
